if you want to use TOS 2.06 then you will also need an additional decoder (Exxos has recently introduced a simpler decoder that plugs into the top of the MMU - most of the other solutions require a lot more work on the motherboard for the ST).

However, for the vast majority of music s/w then I think you would be fine with TOS 1.04 (the last version that will run in the STF without any further changes). Once you have TOS 1.04 then I'd consider if you need a memory upgrade, especially for Cubase with larger arrangements!

These items are usually available ex stock from the Exxos store if you don't have the means to program up devices for yourself.
