That’s a worry, most (if not all) IDE devices I’ve worked with have a master/slave/cable select jumper. Hmm. My cheap SD to IDE doesn't have a selector, but it runs as master, because when I set my CF adapter to slave it boots to the SD and sees the CF in workbench.
