Re: ST PSU NEW BATCH IN THE MAKING
Its not a item I planned adding to my store, but I can do a custom order for the cable. Will have to price one up, probably be around £10-£15 plus postage... hit me up Monday afternoon about it... as almost midnight here and I am not at home on weekendskodak80 wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2017 11:45 pm I just checked and whoohoo, I have rev 2F version PSUs. It's Monday, so just a reminder. I would also like to purchase another of your rev 2f power supplies from you as well as the connector.

Re: ST PSU NEW BATCH IN THE MAKING
Testing the switchmode sections out finally
The large capacitors are out of stock, again
<rant>
Farnell have become really rubbish lately
It's bad enough that their site is seriously broken, and slow, and this week, even more broken. But even if I do manage to find the parts I want, they are not going to be in stock for three months or more.
</rant>
So I will be using an alternative brand capacitor in this last batch power supplies. Should be here mid-next week.

Re: ST PSU NEW BATCH IN THE MAKING
24 PSU's tested..
Waiting on more capacitors and transformers.. hopefully be here mid next week.
These are the last PSU's to be made of this design now. Why ? Because for one, these are a nightmare to assemble, and I am getting a bit tired of making them, and soldering in general. Not only that, but some parts are rapidly increasing in price lately, I don't know why. So I have decided that this series of PSU will come to an end with this batch.
This does not mean no more PSU's. I already posted research into a more "Pure SMT" PSU which will replace this design ultimately. Such designs I will likely not be making myself, but will be farmed out to be assembled. As to the final costs of this, I have no idea. Future PSU's could end up costing more because of it, but I will try and find ways of keeping the costs down.

Re: ST PSU NEW BATCH IN THE MAKING
Lots more progress today..
There will be 1x 110V Falcon PSU, the rest will be half ST and half Falcon PSUs. I've run out of transformers, so others stock are on hold until they arrive
EDIT:
Some should be in stock over the weekend (9th dec).
I've not had much time to clean the all flux off these boards, mostly from the bottom. My fingers are hurting and my back is killing me, so I just have had to stop working on these for few days now. So trying to get the finished ones out of the door for people before xmas. I will imagine the remaining ones will find their way into stock over the next few weeks.
