Looking down on your adapter, the 'A' or 'D' end?

I found a picture of device installed. Pin 1 is A500 text end of adapter PCB.
I have some strange behaviour.
Seems to work fine on Kensington ValuKeyboard Black. But once I keyboard reset the AMIGA the keyboard does not work? I have to do a PSU power off. ??

Arrived at Saturday,
so Pin1 is where A500 silkscreen starts, right?
Tried SPEEDLINK SL-6411-BK-01 USB Keyboard - this one is not working unfortunately..
will try next models i have soon
