I've been wondering if its worth adding a internal ultrasatan "option" or not ?, since we have the IDE interface pretty much sorted, it can be used as a plug in module anyway, so I think it renders using ultrasatan a little "pointless" .

The internal DMA port is there, so things can be added, but with space and time always a factor, I am wondering if its really worth the trouble ?

As long as you have the DMA port internally, then you are giving us the choice to use it or not. Let others work out how to implement it as not everyone will want to modify a case to put it under the floppy etc.

Yeah, I am all for mounting the thing being someone else's problem :)

I put a regular (external) US in my STacy, but as mentioned, it's a bit involved.

At the time, we didn't have some of Chris's wonderful IDE options. :)
