What is the etiquette for buying TF cards ?
Hello all !
I'm interested into getting a TF card (more specifically a TF1230), I understand there is 2 ways to go about it: buying from an Amiga online shop or directly from a DIY enthusiast on the forum.
I'm interested in the latter, however I did not find any obvious place to ask for one. What would be the proper way ?
Thanks !

@alenppc, @supaduper, @go0se, @8 Bit Dreams will all sell you one. Amibay is the "standard" place to look but you can also ask here.FFClad wrote: 04 Nov 2022 15:52 Hello all !

Thank you both for your answers !
edit: I've asked 8 bit dreams if he'd agree to build me one, as we are quite close and both in eurozone, I'll bid on your listing if he declines.

Re: What is the etiquette for buying TF cards ?
Hello !
Is there any builder from EU interested in selling me a CPU-less, socketed TF1230 ?
I did not receive any reply from 8 Bit Dreams after his initial answer early November, I assume he is busy and don't want to harass him further than I already have.

Similar situation here: I'm hoping to get a TF1260 without CPU pretty soon, as in within the next month. Any of the usual builders here based in the UK?
Also, what's with the 'Not to be sold by AmigaKit' on the boards? Have they annoyed someone?

They've been trademarking things like the Amiga logo. I dont like their business practices and do not want to have my name associated with that.enigmo wrote: 20 Mar 2023 22:06 Also, what's with the 'Not to be sold by AmigaKit' on the boards? Have they annoyed someone?

Re: What is the etiquette for buying TF cards ?
Yeah, that does sound pretty scummy. Good to know.
Thanks for the info. I'll need a PSU as well and amigastore.eu seem to have a little bit off the cards so I might get one there in the next few days, unless there's one ready to go here.
Support is from the builders, right? So I'm presuming amigastore build their own rather than resell for the guys on here, that right?
