I have hunted and not found anything.
Can somebody confirm that the crystal I need for the real time clock IC (DS1315) is a 32.768khz 'tuning fork clock crystal' please?
The spec sheet indicates that is a typical value - but I am looking for the mythical C1 BOM!!
Can all registered uses please login, even just for a few minutes..
It helps build a picture where our "good traffic" is coming from..
Thanks :)

That's the frequency you need, though I'm not 100% sure of the footprint.BigSteve wrote: Sat Mar 18, 2023 12:46 pm I have hunted and not found anything.

Sadly it looks like the osc got missed. I can't check until I get back home on Monday.

Re: H5C1 RTC crystal?
Yes. Its a small cylinder shape quartz crystal, 2mm x 6mm. I think I fitted a slightly larger (3mm x 8mm) but it's a snug fit.

Excellent - thanks for confirmation.rubber_jonnie wrote: Sat Mar 18, 2023 3:35 pm That's the frequency you need, though I'm not 100% sure of the footprint.
Perfect - I have a local supplier with stocked device - Length 6.09 x 1.92 diameter with 0.7mm centres for leads. Perhaps also salvageable from a clock/watch too!DoG wrote: Sat Mar 18, 2023 4:43 pm Yes. Its a small cylinder shape quartz crystal, 2mm x 6mm.
