In which case I may bring my "pocket" oscilloscope with me then, just in case.Icky wrote: Tue Sep 20, 2022 7:49 pm I have been fixing the Phoenix world over the weekend to bring to the event.

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Good idea @stephen_usher. You never know what machine may need some diagnosis / bodging.stephen_usher wrote: Tue Sep 20, 2022 10:54 pmIn which case I may bring my "pocket" oscilloscope with me then, just in case.Icky wrote: Tue Sep 20, 2022 7:49 pm I have been fixing the Phoenix world over the weekend to bring to the event.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: Cyber Legends...the preperation
Better bring your label printer. “As tested by PhilC”
Re: Cyber Legends...the preperation
@Icky yes, very good point. Maybe we I could bulk print a few. Diagnosed by Icky, Tested by PhilC and fixed by @Steve as well perhaps?

Re: Cyber Legends...the preperation
How about I organise a 'Fastest bad DMA fix' race?
I could line up some faulty STe machines in front of each of you and you guys could race to see who could repair theirs first.
(The winner gets a job in the Foxconn factory in China!

Does it go something like
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: Cyber Legends...the preperation
What time should we aim to arrive by? (i.e. what time is the venue open for us to set up?)
I may have to work until 1pm and I'm about 1hr away.
