I imagine that someone could take the KiCAD files and build a PCB which would work with the STe but I’ve not event taken a glance.

Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

that sounds crazy but have you tried to run it concurrently?
It wouldn’t work. You would need a whole bus control logic system so that only one CPU had access to the machine at any one time for a start. As the 68000 has no cache if one CPU is running then the other can’t, so there’s no point either. Without the bus logic things would crash pretty quickly with the two CPUs misreading data and fighting over the bus, possibly causing damage to both.

I should have enough parts now to build up approximately 50 of the ST536 up fully. Though I am not sure if to put that many into actual production or not. I may do a small batch of maybe 10 or so and see how well those sell before embarking on getting more done.

I am not sure when these will actually go into production yet either because I literally ploughed thousands into PCBWAY and JLC over the past few months to get stuff assembled faster. Needless to say funds are somewhat tight at the moment to embark on another batch run of stuff. I've got just shy of £2,000 on my credit card to pay off yet  I'm sure everyone else is getting short on funds lately as well.

I do sort of hope that there may be some progress over the next few weeks as opposed to months kind of thing. Meanwhile the birdseed boards are still available in my store if anyone wants to support the project.

As mentioned in my blog over the past few weeks. I have successfully run the ST536 on H5, STE, STFM. So we should be stable on all those platforms.

Not had chance to price it up yet. I'm hoping to get around £150 mark. But with parts shortages and price increases it could end up being more I really cannot say at this time.

I think I should point out / remind people that it's not going to fit in a original case unless you have a H5 motherboard that is.

While there is a relocater for the STE, it's too tall to fit under the keyboard properly . With the STFM there's even less room and about 400 motherboard revisions. So doing separate relocators for all the boards just isn't viable.

Even with a relocator it won’t fit under the keyboard. I have experience with this and the original TF536, documented elsewhere.
