I completely agree. Especially when its something as simple as an IDE buffer. There isnt any secret to these. You can look up the schematics from the A4000 mobo.torsti76 wrote: 17 Mar 2022 22:03 Well, just to make one thing clear: I'm not anybody's advocate here and I won't take sides.
I find this "It's mine! No, I made it!" attitude in our hobbyist community rather annoying, tbh.
Anyway, back to topic...

Now he’s being a cry baby about something even more simple.
Simple idea, simple schematic. Honestly 🤦🏼♂️ https://rastport.com/products/KA47/

Re: IDE Buffer For 1230
When will he claim to own the rights to the printed circuit board with copper traces? ;-)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Honestly, I’m surprised he’s not tried that yet. He supports Amiga Kit so yeah, say no more.stephen_usher wrote: 18 Mar 2022 10:22 When will he claim to own the rights to the printed circuit board with copper traces? ;-)
