9958 seems to be cheaper to buy than the 9938...

Where do they get if from, as I can't believe those ale pulls from msx computers?

I think they were used in a few different machines.

Ok the TFMSXr1 is in the post to @arkadiusz.makarenko.

I'm not precious about keeping this design to myself. It will eventually be open but right now if i open source it people will get one built and it might have issues.

Its 5V. Centre positive.

The regulator is for the 3.3v supply lines.
