Looks very nice, though I'm not sure about needing 12 voices :)

That's fair enough, I got a ready built one, I have too much other stuff to build/fix at the moment!!

Well, whilst working on the new ST arrival, I wanted to verify the diag harness on another machine, and lo and behold, the harness wasn't getting any power from the joystick ports.


A quick check on the ports with my microscope saw a fair amount of this sort of thing:

Quick cleanup:

And all is good again. Luckily just cracked solder and no lifted pads/traces.

Atari really did under engineer those ports, they're just terrible.

Just arrived in the post with my Apple Mockingboard is the Oric Erebus SD card system:

EDIT:

Here we go, UHF terrible picture mode, but working:

Picture quality over RF is really not great, and no colour either, but the system is super easy to use. Type CLOAD"" and the on-screen menu appears. Use the cursor keys to navigate and hit return to start your program, simples. Also has a handy reset button.

Now, where can I find the complete archive of Oric software :)
