have memory as the 1260 have nothing to do with PCMCIA. works fine with TF.

but it will however mean that Kickstart 3.0 will not autodetect the ram.
but who uses 3.0 anyway? it is a pile of poo..

Yeah, PCMCIA works fine with the TF1260. No one uses KS3.0 these days, it's so easy and cheap to upgrade to 3.1 too.

Well well well...

After a bit of a chase with the TF1260 new new firmware i have discovered something interesting. I need some time to come up with the absolute proof of this but ...

Initial hypothesis is that the Rev2B vs Rev 1D4 (et al) do autovectors differently. Not sure *HOW* this happens but I can see that interrupts are processed by an AVEC on the Rev2B and VIA DSACK on the 1D4. Since the autovector is pulled out of ROM with DSACK processing this explains why ROM speed makes a difference.

This fw now works on the problematic boards... Try it out people and i'll then start making it faster again.

Flashed the firmware Steve but computer says No :(. it does not work on my 1D4 or my 2B A1200
