Re: PAK68/3-030 50Mhz
Nice, reminds me I have to try out my PAK in 50Mhz mode. I have all the parts now.
Is there any way to query the FPU to see if it is indeed 50Mhz? I bought one from ebay but there's always the possibility is was re-marked from a slower one.

Being from eBay, I would even say it is likely to be remarked. There is no way of querying the designated speed from software. After all, it's always the same chip. In their production's end of line, Motorola tested them to see up to which speed it worked correctly and marked them accordingly.TheNameOfTheGame wrote: 08 Apr 2021 15:17 Is there any way to query the FPU to see if it is indeed 50Mhz? dml's FPUTEST.TOS should give you confidence, however, that your FPU operates correctly at the speed you selected. If you can't find FPUTEST with Google, let me know, I must have it somewhere.

Re: PAK68/3-030 50Mhz
This is my benchmark after fitting the 50Mhz parts. It's a little different from Frank's for some reason.
With NVDI it gets faster.
I hope I'm running at 50Mhz, because I can't tell from sysinfo. It reports I am at 96Mhz.
fputest runs ok, but since I am not sure about the CPU speed, the FPU could be running slower I guess.

Yes, my Frak2 isn't done yet so I am stuck with ST-RAM at the moment.

Frank has TT-RAM. Your setup does not, right? Not sure how much of
a difference that will make.
Also, you might want to check the Pak manual but IIRC (big if) the
CPU speed and FPU speed are supposed to be matched.
Grabbed a screenshot but I'm not sure how this applies. Hopefully
someone with more knowledge can step in and help:
