STe Booster Questions

A couple of years ago, I bought what I now know to be the 1.5 model of the STe 36mhz booster. A couple of pictures are attached. I never installed it and am thinking to do so now. Recently, however, I have been using my STe to do MIDI music. Currently, that is my priority for the machine.

Where are the best instructions for how I may install it? Is there any possibility that the booster will negatively impact the machine's ability to run MIDI software or provide exact timing?

I have come into possession of a Mega STe. Will this booster work in that machine?

Please ignore previous question about installing the accelerator in a Mega STe. I have learned that the project is abandoned and I've decided that since you (understandably) don't want to deal with supporting the thing, I'll just leave it out.

They are STE boosters not MSTE. Yes they were plug in prototypes which were abandoned a long time ago. They will work fine in some STEs but not others.
