Finding equivalents for old vintage chips?

Post by Steve »

Hey guys,

I'm trying to find equivs for the following:

The IS900 Optocoupler (written on chip: IS900 I937DD)
https://www.findchips.com/detail/IS900/ ... quantity=1
and
HD74HC74P (With this one it seems there are many variants, but I am not sure how to tell if the variant is a suitable replacement. Any help appreciated thanks)

@exxos, yes but there seem to be a few variants and my knowledge in this area is small, so I'm hoping someone can clarify for me.

For the IS900 - replace with this: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/optocoupler-ics/1718172/

direct pin compatible part, from the same manufacturer.
