That's fairly cheap, but console only.

Using this search:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from ... 71&_sop=15

Quite a few going cheap! I see a 'buy it now' for £10:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sega-Mega-Dr ... 4758471697
(says it works but power led doesn't anymore)
Boxed megadrive with 'best offer' or bid:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEGA-MULT001 ... 3717713761
-Md2 for £12:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sega-Megadri ... 4036125573

Also Facebook marketplace is a great way to find local cheap consoles :)

Also - if you want minimal fuss, HDMI output and 40+ games, you can get the official sega megadrive mini for around £50:

Super easy to mod! In fact it is the best console to mod, as it has the native 60hz crystal. You can have switches on the side: jap/eng & 50/60hz. Because if you ever get an Everdrive for storing games on SD, you want the 60hz varients as 50hz sucks.
