So both SND and SNDH will play on JAM. Also, if I copy an SNDH file to the Atari, the extension changes to SND and it, along with the actual SND file plays in SND player.

Why the 2 different extensions if they both play the same?

I've just realised that the "lf" means long file name and "sf" mains short file name. Duh. :lol:

I just realised you can mute the channels!! I recorded Datass by Cerror straight into the PC via audition from SND Player on the Atari. The quality is amazing! It's now my phone ringtone. :lol: If you have a subwoofer it's amazing what that chip puts out.

I'm wondering if I can use this with my setup if I sort another midi out:

He's having trouble with fake chips. I'm thinking I'll buy one off you at the weekend so I could use the real deal in this device. Assuming I can use it without a DAW.

Sounds about right. I tested all my YM chips in my store.
