Hi im mark im new to all this i own 3 atari computers a 141040ste and a 520fm and 520st only one works 520fm the 1040 ste and 520st same prob power light on and wont activate the floppy or computer wont start up i used to use my 1040 for music as i liked the sync timing over midi i love them to work again i not sure whats wrong with them it coud be more than the psu ive had some help of what to do but im to faraway for any help.tfrom a friend who i met online and he told me about this forum hope some one can help me i loved using it but it conkedout a few year ago now i use a pc for my music but love the old skool way to control how i make music

Welcome on board - there are lots of helpful & experienced users on here so I'm sure they can help point you in the right direction (or even point you toward some suitable topics for diagnosing boot problems.
I think it's often most helpful to have a colour display connected (even a TV if you can connect one maybe) to see what appears on the screen when the power is first applied.
You can probably prove the video connection works with your one functioning ST first & then swap that for the other ones in turn & note what happens.
Good luck with the repairs - I love using the older packages (Creator/Notator/Cubase & Logic) for MIDI as they don't interfere with the creative process!
