@terriblefire - Go for the smt route for caps and resistors on the build. I know it's over the through hole component holes but it was so much nicer to build and quicker. I used mostly 0805s but there were a few 33R clock line resistors that where 1206s to span properly. Unfortunately there are a few points where the span is too long and had to go back to the through hole resistors. https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =90#p36700

@terriblefire It will be good to know when that will be!
@exxos When those 2 have gone, will you be considering another batch or the next iteration?

Re: H4 BUYERS INTEREST
Next board will have more SMT caps and resistors.. @Icky already swapped those a few weeks ago...I did all the fixes ages ago...JezC wrote: 13 May 2020 16:06 @exxos When those 2 have gone, will you be considering another batch or the next iteration?
The only change I am contemplating otherwise is making the flashy clock socket a 3.3V bus.. And maybe putting a additional socket to the left of it

That extra socket would make @PhilC buy even more sockets :lol:exxos wrote: 13 May 2020 16:18 The only change I am contemplating otherwise is making the flashy clock socket a 3.3V bus.. And maybe putting a additional socket to the left of it
