What monitor are you using there? Sure is a clean display.

Yep, a friend found these Dell monitors a while ago and they work great with the ST. It is a Dell P2314Ht but be aware that they may have different internals.
I am also using my own ST2VGA adapter.

I'm using a Dell 2001FP with mine, and it's okay, but not nearly that clean. I picked up one 2001FP back when they were new, and was pleased to discover it will take 15 kHz (I hadn't bought it for that reason), so later on I picked up a couple more for cheap on auction-site-that-shall-not-be-named. One thing that's nice about them is they can take sync-on-green, which isn't important in the Atari world, but matters for some of the old Unix workstation oddities.kodak80 wrote: 31 Dec 2019 08:19 Yep, a friend found these Dell monitors a while ago and they work great with the ST. I do want to get some badges made, but no idea where to get them done?kodak80 wrote: 31 Dec 2019 01:35 Once these new boards are ensconced in cases, it would be nice to have a badge on the outside to show what is inside?
That could be tricky to keep tabs of now all boards of shipped out. I can put numbers on any future batches if people want me to ?kodak80 wrote: 31 Dec 2019 01:35 Also, as these were a limited run, should they be allocated serial numbers for future posterity? I have tagged my two as AU1 and AU2 at the moment.

I found a couple of places to get you started for name plates and logos
https://www.alibaba.com/showroom/electronic-badge.html
https://www.miladisplays.com/plasticnameplates.htm
It would probably make it too expensive to make a serial number part of the badge? Since each one would be unique!

Re: kodak80 H4 build (x2)
I have now got the RTC working on board 2. I now have the date and time set and they are kept ticking when the H4 is turned off.
XCONTROL.ACC reports date and time correctly.
Followed the guide here: https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/last/RTC/index.htm

Booted my H4 with my MicroCosmos today and everything seems to work fine.
Both boards now have RTC set up and working.

Re: kodak80 H4 build (x2) +1 more...
These DMA H4 FIX PCBs arrived yesterday:
Now waiting on the IC component to build it and test it. Hopefully will arrive this coming week.
@exxos Where will the FDCS connect to on the H4 board? IS this the same point as Icky's bodge with an inverted IC?
I have also started building board 3 for GAZZAK as he does not have time. Some of the SMT components have now been soldered into place and will follow Smonson with the DAC IC and cut the tracks.

Just soldered the pins into one to see how it sits on the H4 board (board 3):
With 245 chip sat in the top (not yet soldered as need the SMT component soldered first): This is how it looks in board 2 which has a socket in place:
