As when I only allow stuff to be loaded from my own server, the forum formatting goes nuts
I am not sure if I am on the same page.
But on client side you can use Fiddler (Telerik) to track all traffic?
It is free, but it is not website.

Just upgraded my Wordpress site to PHP 7.2, what a bloody nightmare that was.

My webserver is Windows, so I ended up having to upgrade Visual Studio runtimes due to the later varsion of PHP using that, then removing all the deprecated extensions. It's a bloody nightmare, but had to be done to or I couldn't upgrade Wordpress to the latest version.

I tried 7.2, but it from the AMN site with it being old, I think the floppyshop page broke as well.. The only way I could run later php versions is to run 2 servers :(

It's a shame, 7.2 is definitely faster than 5.3.6 that I was running, not to mention the security fixes. :(

AMN I have been slowly moving posts and downloads here, but just not had time for like a year now :( ultimately AMN will be taken down, so I should be able to upgrade then, but probably be a while yet.

Or you could set up a docker container for the old site. This would somewhat sandbox the installation (and therefore improving security a bit), and the rest could be updated.

I just got a email from my VPS host, basically they are migrating to a new system, OpenVZ to OpenVZ 7 , whatever what means.

So assuming it will all go wrong, the forum and basically everything I host will probably be offline until its all fixed.

Assuming nothing goes wrong, there may simply be some downtime while the switch happens. As to when this will be, no idea, how long, no idea. Though I don't expect it to be more than a hour.

I just wanted to give people a heads-up to whats going on, I don't want people to think I have "pulled the plug" and vanished :)

Been playing around with Apache firewall to ban more server attacks. Hopefully it won't start banning forum members, if it does, you now know why
