Aw man you're right it IS the same - Curse these eyes ! So sorry about that.
I really thought I was onto something there.

I must have a problem with that pad or trace in that case. Will re-check.

Yep, I have a broken or corroded trace to that via, which made me think initially rhat it went nowhere.
Well, thanks for all the help, I really appreciate you taking the time.

Sorry for making you dig out a board to suck solder out needlessly :D

Cool, glad you got it sorted in the end.

:bravo:

Tracing with a meter is a very underrated (IMHO) method of troubleshooting, I had a board I was upgrading to 1Meg and had problems, but the meter quickly beeped out things and found me two missing A7 connections. The traces were there and looked fine, but it just didn't work. A bodge wire soon fixed that :)

Of course the fun and ganes with yours is that the pin 29 via is hiding underneath the blitter and not so obvious.

Good work though, everything we do and record is something that means that somebody else won't have to do it, so it all helps.

Frank, he has fixed it. It was a bad trace. The blitter patch has nothing to do with the STFM... In fact the blitter patch is only needed for very old blitters and I don't think I never saw one yet. I like others have been removing the patch in fact.
