And finally!!
Formatted the card under windows that was giving 3 bombs , re partitioned it and all is well so far.
Another lot of HD test to run tomorrow on this card and then I think I'm done until my last IDE to CF adaptor arrives from China.
I'm.sure I have a 3.5" IDE to card reader somewhere and an old IDE CDROM clicking about but that will have to wait till I can make it to the lockup

:bravo:rubber_jonnie wrote: 01 May 2019 21:20 I left the IDE tester running all day on the Fujitsu 6.4GB laptopo drive (I set it off before going to work, not suggesting it took all day :) ), and all was fine:

Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers
Won't work on the initial board... at least I don't think so as there is no secondary decoding in the PLD... But it does decode the whole IDE range, thats why it shows up 2 IDE devices..

Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers
That won't work as the DEV board is only setup as a master IDE interface. We have been working on the master and slave IDE circuit for the next version but are waiting on the bugs you guys find before we embark down that road. The diode patch for PhilC's Chinese CF cards has been put into the schematic already.
