That sounds like a good idea RJ. Will pinch that one.

Re: ST-IDE-ROM Dev Board v1 - BETA Testers
Quick update, I removed the select 1&2 jumpers and soldered in the resistor/capacitor combo directly to the PCB. Looks a lot less like a half dead Xmas tree now :)
Also hooked up a 2GB laptop drive, and the drive is seen by the driver which is a good start.
Currently left it formatting.
No real time to play with much more tonight, but I will have to move to another board with 1MB I think as some of the HDD apps won't work with the drivers loaded. So got to whip the CPU out of my other spare test board.

The fun will really start when I hook up the 35GB Iomega Rev drive with removable media. Not sure if it'll work, but I'm gonna try it anyhoo.
Will settle on driver ASAP, trouble is I can't spring for HDDRIVER right now, €45 is a bit too much right now :(

Jon...??? Just looked @ the mega 4 with the compact flash plugin... I bet a nice Englishman with a 3d printer could replace the mega 4 plastic filler plate with one that has a slot for the compact flash card and mounting for interface.. Its not an idea though..
