Yes, it was a devkit. A video was posted on EAB a year or two ago with a guy who got one of these booting from IDE, but the driver was only present in a special debug rom, so regular CD32 roms won't boot from these.

This is the video I think:
Brek did quite a bit of CD32 project work at one time but has moved on to GPS equipment as it ties better to the course he's currently studying.

in mean time all parts for CD32 risers arrived, was able to assemble new riser and test it with TF330.. Just wanted to be sure it's the card with the smashed corner..and yes, same behavior - card hangs in reset loop with latest beta FW.. :(

There is a rev1 in the post.
Also i think AlenPPC asked about more TF534 PCBS. Unfortunately I have no more left. I've donated them all :(

As about TF534 - really like these, maybe You can order some PCBs and put on sell on Ebay / Amibay - will gladly take some, this will help You also to get out of red numbers, as You lost some cash with TF534 SATA Version....

Re: Terriblefire Accelerators
Ok,
now i understand what Alen said about IDE speed...
getting 7.7 MB/s with CPU FASTROM
excited to test this in combination with my Cobitec 8MB Zorro II, WB3.9 on A2000, it was 700Kb/s before because of 16bit ZII card...

Re: Terriblefire Accelerators
Stephen, just saw the latest stream. My A1000 is the same. The TF53x won’t boot without a kickstart rom adapter. I can send you a pcb for one, it also serves as a relocator. The board won’t fit without it anyway

Hi Stephen,
Just saw your previous live-stream and found your ROM interesting. I actually kicked of something very similar last year. Perhaps your interested;
