Keyboard

Post by peters »

One of the issues with upgrades inside the ST case is the lack of height, particularly above the 68k cpu.

Could a keyboard be created using low profile key switches ?

I don't know how they would compare to the original switches but there must be smaller ones available now.

The keys are not the problem. Its the thickness of the PCB and assembly which doubt could be much thinner. Generally depending on board revision you can't CPU extenders to move items further backwards..

Or get a H5 board ;)

Good point.

Mount the keyboard pcb flush with the case and use low profile switches and key caps ?

Just exploring ideas.
