WIP Sporny's Wrecking Ball [homebrew - Atari STE]

Post by sporniket »

Hello,

I think it's time to post here, I could have something playable now, however a little bit buggy at time...

So this is a breakout style game for a computer having a blitter and dma sound (the target is STE, and for now I use Hatari, but some people did successfully run previous alphas on real gear). At first it was "a little summer project to learn 68k assembly"

So, I did an alpha version (the fifth one) for this end of year : https://github.com/sporniket/sporny-wre ... .0-alpha-5.

All the game mechanics are implemented, and if bugs and rage do not kill you, you have around 14 levels to play with.

And a little preview video :

Wow! What an accomplishment. That's amazing that you made this from scratch... I wish I was smart enough to program games :)

Thanks.

Edit: And yeah, it's very satisfying to come near my goal.
