The boards look pretty neat. Not that I really plan to install one of those right now, but just out of curiosity:

Assuming you have sockets on the motherboard, once you plug such a board, does it stays for eternity? Or is it really possible to remove it without some desoldering?

Assuming you have the 3.3v socket, it's plug and play prettymuch.. Extra options need soldering but not a showstopper.

All the ones I changed the chips on are now out of the US cleaner.

This may not look like much, but it's the first 3.3volt TRUDIE which will be heading to the store very soon ! Then after what, like 5 years now ? I can FINALLY cross this project off my to-do-list !!

JLC pcbway strike again

I'm also finding a lot of boards where the tin plating isn't level enough. So the PLD isn't sitting level on the pads, which is causing issues :( I even have some boards where the PLD didn't even get soldered on, and some totally blank PCBs where its clear the plating is really uneven. So it's annoying , as now im having to fault find a lot of boards now
