So this is an idea Ive been looking into for a while now.
If you are going to be going to Cyberlegends this year and want to sell some of your retro gear, post it in this thread! :) (along with some pictures and a price!)
To save things getting mucky, perhaps any purchase requests from buyers can be sent to the relevant forum member by the private messaging system (PM) instead of clogging up the thread.
The seller can then declare SOLD if a sale has been arranged to prevent any further PMs being sent needlessly and the buyer can then collect the item at the event.
I believe this is a great idea, with the following benefits:
* No 'postage lottery', where the (now becoming irreplaceable) item(s) can get destroyed by our less than careful postal services
* No having to pay for the luxury of the above mentioned destruction, or extra costs (P+P/insurances) to avoid the above.
* No auction site fees/taxes/'buyer protection' fee.
* Due to the above cost dodges, the item should be significantly cheaper than the equivalent on the auction sites.
It may also inadvertently encourage a higher show attendance too. ;)
So please, post away...

In the loft IIRC I have 3 mono SM124 Atari monitors. If anyone is interested, I will get them down and give them a quick test them. These will be collection only from CL4.. assuming all the planets align and things go well.... £20 each.

Little things I'm looking out for but can never find.
- Atari ST(e) box polystyrene inserts.
- Atari ST(e) box slips/sleeves. They used to fit a promotional sleeve over the normal box.
- Atari ST(e) user manuals / addendums, registration cards anything that would have come in the box (stuff that got shoved in a drawer and lost)
- Atari ST(e) included disks (the Atari disks everyone overwrites the first week with cracks)
- Bundle disks: Discovery Pack, Power Pack, Turbo Pack, Silica 10 star pack, SuperPack

I have a box of about 20 Amiga manuals and professional software. I tried to give some of them away free before but there were no takers. I'll bring them with me and if anyone wants anything they can have them free.

I'd possibly be interested in those - and I'll see if I have any bundles discs in the collection (but I've no idea if they would work...maybe test on the day?)alexh wrote: 08 Aug 2025 17:14 I have a box of about 20 Amiga manuals and professional software. I may have some still working Discovery pack floppies and the manual for them.alexh wrote: 08 Aug 2025 17:07 Little things I'm looking out for but can never find.
Things that lots of people threw away and even now don't consider valuable.

Also, are you still after some of the Atari ST Abacus manuals? If so, which?

Re: Items for sale...ONLY at Cyberlegends 2025
A long time ago in a galaxy... No, that's not it. Let's try that again...
Many years ago I bought a load of old mice and joysticks via this forum...and have done basically nothing with them ever since.
So, if anyone fancies trying their luck I could probably bring some down (still as yet untested, probably won't be tested before CL4 either) - just let me know.
As yet I have no idea what's in that box but I will try to find and photo the contents 'soon'.
I may also have an STF/M case or two/three that I could bring if there's any interest? I can try and find some links to the photos on the original thread on this forum if people want...
I may even bring one of the A500 rev 5(?) boards with a boot issue in the hope someone can help diagnose the problem...
More to follow when I discover what else I have forgotten about... ;)
Edit: was it you @alexh who was interested in a box for an SM124?
If so, I'll keep an eye out for that as well...
