Me either, especially not after my Mega ST keyboard repair. I have to say that the little GRP patches are great though.

Superglue never seems to work, and I've tried using Acetone but that never seems to work either. The trouble with epoxy and GRP, is that it does work, but it is bulky.

I also use this stuff for some kind of plastic related repairs:

I may get some of that Liquid poly as model kit glue is very good for that sort of thing. I'm not a fan of melting myself, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

The Liquid Poly works good on certain plastics and less on others...

Had excellent results with my Archie A3000 (broken clip), but mixed ones with my Mega STE keyboard (broken clip too).

That kind of mirrors my experiences with different plastics,

I had always found acetone to work well, but some computer plastics just don't seem to be affected by it.

Superglue hardly seems to ever work other than to hold something in place whilst you glue it with something else.

The PPC512 I got was ridiculously cheap, under £50 shipped, and supposedly faulty, but I see no evidence of that so far. Also the upgrade to PPC640 is very easy, even the disassembly isn't too terrible, though not the best.

If you do decide to get one, let me know, I should have spare expansion board PCBs as I had to order 5 minimum.
