I feel really sorry for you guys when I read such stories.
I expect if we modelled our services on those of Japan we'd see a big improvement.

Still no sign of the 6850s, or anything else via Royal Mail. *sigh*
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

You're not the only one with the issues with Royal Mail, by the sounds of things ...

Another day, another lack of chip delivery. The "Tracked 48" parcel arrived though... after >96 hours.

Another day, another lack of post.

Now 11 days since the first "1st Class" parcel was sent and 7 days since the untracked "Tracked 48" parcel was sent.

My wife is having similar issues with the lack of post - this time, it's an Ebay item which allegedly was delivered by Evri to a "secure" location, but this location is nowhere near our house ....

It seems to me as though the older I get, the worse crucial services such as post become ..... I'm sure you guys feel the same way at times.

Cheers,

Rich.
