Wondering if the IDE ZIP drive that just turned up will work with the A5000?

Trouble is I don't have any IDE cables, who'd have thought I'd ever say that!!!

Gotta go and have a root through my big box o'cables.

No. The ZIP drivers for RISCOS are for the parallel port only.

I was looking at the *configure options and one is *configure drive X, with X being the number of the drive to boot from. I changed this value to 4, my first SCSI drive and it is booting!!!

I am going to continue testing, but it's looking positive :)
Yay!
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

All reassembled and working, apart from putting the case lid back on. I'm very happy to see this screen again and have all my drivers load:

Will put it back in it's permanent space later today.
