I believe it’s the same as the X2 but with the Roland GS sound bank.

A thought just entered my head..
Has anyone tried a game like, I believe like bomb Jack, which outputs YM music and MIDI ?
I ask because games which do this will probably be outputting both audio channels to the audio mixer at the same time which would actually make the sound rather trashed if both sound systems are running in parallel...
If this is the case , I probably would need to add a jumper to disable one or the other channels individually..
