Hello,
I've got an Atari STe and I'd like to put a TerribleFire accelerator in it. Does anyone have a built ST536r5, or would anyone be willing/able to build one for me?
Thanks!

Re: Wanted: ST536 rev 5
Isn't the ST536r5 for ST only? I don't think it would fit in a STE since it has a PLCC68 type processor and the ST536r5 is intended for a DIP-64 type processor.cloverskull wrote: Sun Jan 21, 2024 6:20 am Hello,

FYI exxos does a dip to PLCC adaptor which allows the connection of the ST536 on an STE.
I used to build the St536 for a few people but am unable to do so any longer. Most people that have them have built them themselves.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: Wanted: ST536 rev 5
Almost finished, I bought enough parts for two figuring I'd mess one up. if I get both working I'll sell one for the price of the parts. I wouldn't hold my breath, My eyes don't see like they used to and those pins are tiny.

You'd be better off getting the STe536 now it's been designed. At least it will fit properly under the keyboard.
