FOR SALE (£0.00) OLDER 8BIT AND 16BIT ATARIs

Post by babba_uk »

I am clearing my garage and decided that the dust on the boxes is getting too thick. I have the following

ATARI 520 STFM (upgraded to 1MB) (Taken JezC)
ATARI 800 (48K) in box. (Taken, PhilC)
ATARI 103XE in box (Taken PhilC)
ATARI 1050 Disk drive in box (Taken HellRaiserUK)
ATARI 410 cassette drive in box (Taken HellRaiserUK
Happy Computers DISCOVERY CARTRIDGE for ST
GOLDEN IMAGE Master 3SD external disk drive (Taken JezC)

I however have no PSUs having chucked them away last year (fool that I am). So I cannot verify whether they work or not. Perhaps they might be useful as spares.

There are some SIO cables.

I do not want any money for these, I just do not want to take then to the tip. If anyone lives local to Bolton, I am willing to give you all of these for NOTHING! If you want them and do not live fairly local, then just cover the cost of shipping.

Regards

Steve

Hi

Do you live anywhere near Bolton or Manchester? I'm willing to meet if you want. The 800 is kinda heavy and would cost to ship but I dont mind driving a bit to meet you if you could.

I'm not able to drive at the minute but do have a couple of work mates that live up that way. That might be possible but am also happy to pay whatever a well packaged parcel weighs. And if you don't want anything for the computer, I'll make a donation to Macmillan Cancer care in your name as they are being very helpful for me at the mo.

I'll find out how much it weights and cost but if you could get someone to meet, then I would be willing to do that as well. Do you want any other bits I have, spare RAM cards, couple of cartridges, SIO cables? Anyway, I will find out the postage cost and get back to you. Sure you dont want the 420 and 1050 ?

Sorry, not wanting to sound greedy but if nobody else wants the XE then could I have that as well please?

You might have seen the Cyber Legends threads, so I could get this computer returned and working as a prize for a competition or raffle?

I would happily take it all if I lived nearby for the reason I posted above but no thank you, maybe another forum member would enjoy the tape or floppy drive.

Mate

I am just happy not to see it tipped. I might cry if I have to do that. Perhaps we leave it a few days, if no interest you can have all that you want. But I will mark the 800 as claimed if I know how to edit a post :)

God 48 years programming and I still cant type...

Thank you @babba_uk , as a big 8 bit fan, especially Ataris, I'd hate any of it to go to the tip too oh and I also can't type but will edit the first post for you :D
