Amazing work on this and in particular this in-depth look at the Buster and DMA stuff!

Re: TF4060 Beta Program
Just found out that WHDLOAD is always freezing when I start it. Need to further investigate, I'm currently re-using my HD image 1:1 when I switched from BFG9060 to TF4060.
Other than that, the card so far is rock solid.

Clean MMULib install required + no random 68060 libs please.Oliver_A wrote: 08 Aug 2024 10:34 Just found out that WHDLOAD is always freezing when I start it. Need to further investigate, I'm currently re-using my HD image 1:1 when I switched from BFG9060 to TF4060.

Re: TF4060 Beta Program
Nah, it's something else. The hang occurs right after the Tooltypes are parsed, causing the SCSI LED of my A4091 (original!) to stay on for 15 seconds, then the LED goes off. After reset, no boot, Kickstart screen. After another reset, boot resumes.
Checked A4091 DMA to all memory regions (Chip, MB Fast, Fast) - no issues here.
I suppose that the autovectored interrupts the A4091 uses might not be an issue here, right?
Anyway, investigating further.

Re: TF4060 Beta Program
AVEC and Data driven interrupts work fine. what you might find is paula glitches through other IPL values before it settles.

Re: TF4060 Beta Program
This maybe trolling by the poster but a TF4060 owner has posted a (rather lame in terms of setup details) feedback over at EAB

Re: TF4060 Beta Program
I'm not reading EAB. If they dont post here i'm not interested. They can also respond to the builder. There are only two builders so its not complicated.alexh wrote: 11 Aug 2024 17:21 This maybe trolling by the poster but a TF4060 owner has posted a (rather lame in terms of setup details) feedback over at EAB

There is simply no way i'm going to have a conversation with anyone by cross posting between two forums. If thats no good enough return your board and get a refund. Its offered.

They claim that they cannot get their account on Exxos Forum authorised. I was simply passing on info I thought might be interesting.
