Yes, 4 channel tracker but it could also handle midi input from keyboard.

I can't play any instrument but I like the midi tech and I was interested in learning to play a midi keyboard on the Atari.

Interesting that there is now a Waveblaster clone. I still haven't worked out how to plug in a midi keyboard to the Milan.

Quartet was a tracker but allowed you to view all tracks as sheet music. It was pretty good but the samples not so much lol

I guess the ebayers are having some difficulty posting so I have yet to receive any of the 80s synth kit I ordered.

Fair play, the DD55 is the size of a sofa cushion so one ebayer has only just found a box big enough to post in.

The PSS-780 has finally been sent untracked postage so gawd only knows where that will end up.

I've great confidence the DD12 will turn up today or tomorrow so I'm ready to get cracking with the soldering iron. Electronics knowledge isn't great but I've brought a few things back to life mostly CB radios.

My Midi cables and drum sticks have arrived ! Missus wasn't keen on me beating a collection of her best crockery so my drumsticks have been confiscated. My first drum sticks. Size and material OAK 7E. Why? Because I haven't got a clue and they were 4 UK pounds delivered! A stick is a stick right? (Imagine posting that comment on Reddit.)

I remember primary school they gave me a brush to beat a tambourine. I was always disappointed with life even at the age of three.

I've read the Milan thread and it reminded me about the Atari CUBASE dongle requirement.

How do you guys get around this? What version of CUBASE do you use? Cracked?

I've been looking over some of the links in this thread. Wow! There is quite a bit to this Midi technology isn't there? I forget sometimes that before plug and play, you really did have to use your noggin to connect computers to other stuff.

Chronic/Simon. I wish I still had my Stu Allen Key103 recordings on TDK tapes I'd be a very happy man. I've spent a good few hours trying to find online but no luck. I touched on the Rave seen but sadly I wasn't one of the cooler kids so I was on the fringe of it.
