Falcon SCSI adapters / plugs

Talking about BlueSCSI2, @Steve, talking to @smoore100 mentioned in another thread (that was veering off topic so I don't want to continue it there):

@smoore100 yeah V2 that's right. You'll need a 50 pin SCSI to the SCSI2 type connector on the Falcon of course.

This has been a bit of a slow-burning quest for me.

I'd like to use the Falcon's SCSI port and I'd quite like a BlueSCSI, but I can't find a way to hook things together that doesn't involve a couple of one metre cables plugged into each other.

I tried looking for a source for a board-mount SCSI2 HD 50 plug so I could build an adapter board, but I couldn't find one of those either.

There are quite a few 68 pin versions and adapters -- and even a few female HD50 adapters -- but the Falcon needing a male plug seems to be a bit of an outlier.

Has anyone come up with a good source, or a good solution for a neat Falcon SCSI adapter?

Ideally I'd like to end up with one of these neat little things, but with a Falcon-compatible connector.

Btw,
the picture from the german shop is misleading. The one i got has no gender changer.
The cable has a HD50 male to a 50pin female connector.

Which is persumably why this one has a gender changer on it -- which is at least small.

Ah, thanks! I don't think that shows up on UK Ebay. I'll see what the shipping looks like.



I did manage to find this one today -- it is board mount, but not right angle. It isn't exactly peanuts for a connector, but perhaps it could be integrated directly onto the Bluescsi2.

BW another option is contacting the German gentleman called Lynxman (same guy in this thread) who developed some internal Falcon SCSI PCB adapters. You remove the SIL's on the motherboard and solder this board on, which gives you an internal 50 pin header. This is how I have my BlueSCSI internally. I don't know if he has any boards physically available, but he might send you the PCB information for getting it made yourself. Another person who might have the files is Tuxie from the thunderstorm team.
