Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Can't believe I've yet to find a machine with a foam & foil keyboard.

Probably won't work, but have you tried a dome from an ST keyboard?

That's both conductive and way too small an area. You need to fill the 11mm circle with capacitative material.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Well, the new "acoustic" foam seems to work well at least. Swapped it over on the space bar and it works a treat.

Redone all the keys that I did last night and they all work nicely. I think I've found the correct materials at last.
