P.S. Just bought one from eBay.
I presume you mean a keyboard dome?

If you need any more I have a few, let me know and I'll post you some.

Yeah. I've ordered one from eBay for a fiver (along with a keycap). More would be useful though if you're offering, just in case. :-)
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...

Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.

Finally got around to opening up the Mega 2 ST I obtained a while ago.

From the date codes it looks like a relatively late mid-1990 machine and someone has already been inside and replaced one of the RAM chips. It'll just need sockets, decoupling caps and chips to bring it up to the full 4MB. No solder in the holes so it'd be easy.

So, on to the next project, upgrading the Mega 2 ST to 4MB.

The 18 pin sockets arrive today, the RAM chips have been ordered from Exxos and I printed out a resistor leg bender tool last night so as to bend the legs of the decoupling caps to the right length. I should be able to get the soldering out of the way tonight and then just plug the chips in when they arrive.

That was a good upgrade to my Mega ST.

Really worth it.

Woo-hoo!

I now have the OPD disk interface ROM images!

Interestingly the image is a full 32K but the ROM socket in the schematic is only set up for 16K.

Got home and quickly wrote the ROM image to an EEPROM, put it into the board, put the board into the ROM slot, connected a Gotek, switched on and...
