Hi I've been talking to Wizztronics the original manufacturer of the cartmaster for a few months and they have just confirmed to me in an email they will be making 100 cartmaster lites which will be on ebay shortly so if anyone was after one keep your eyes peeled for a couple of weeks :D
Thanks
Brian

Re: Cartmaster
Is this the 4-cartridge port-selector cartridge? If so, wow! Didn't know that there was 400 ports available to make this. Or did they manufacture some more?
I will definitely be getting one. Keep us updated!

Re: Cartmaster
Oh, this may be useful for debugging my TT's cartridge slot... Hmm.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: Cartmaster
It allowed you to plug in multiple carts using the ST's single cartridge port.

Re: Cartmaster
Is there any more information about these available anywhere?
I'm wondering how they compare to the C-Lab combiner (which is a multi-dongle switcher too) -I've got one of the latter (they're pretty rare to come up from what I've seen & usually rather expensive as a result) but it would be interesting to compare.
There's also the Midex+ from Steinberg (I have one or two of those as well) - but they need a mod to work with the Falcon IIRC and also include the SMPTE circuitry plus some extra MIDI IN/OUT ports...

Re: Cartmaster
It'll most likely be the two port as they don't have any pcb's for the 4 port but they sent me an invoice and I have paid for mine so U should keep and eye out on ebay.com (usa) anytime now. Or you could email them direct salesdept@wizztronics.com. They charged me $89 plus shipping but you will need to pay duty on that when it arrives if you're outside the US.
