Can anyone identify this chip die?

Post by terriblefire »

This weekend just past I had a SAUG meetup event in my house. It was rather fun and a lot of beer was drunk. @chucky came over from Sweden with a bunch of fake VDP 9958 chips and we decaped a few of them.. This is what we got..

Its definitely not a VDP or a Yamaha but can anyone id it?

Chucky also did a livestream building a TF1230 with BanjoGuyOllie from my soldering station.
