Frankly i'm not surprised to see unusual ram slots in a ste:
- first possible reason (and it happened to me) the ram slots became brittle and broke, so they were replaced.
- second possible reason, the first batches of stes didn't have simm slots but sipp slots like in some stacys, so they were refitted with simm slots to be easyer to upgrade.
