Not sure about a rev 2 but I do still have one or two of those 'silly style' boards in the collection somewhere.

Ok, I will try to check one at some point tomorrow.
@exxos always referred to the boards with the RAM under the keyboard as "silly style" so it's kind of stuck. Though my original 1040STF from 1987 is that style & still works well for me...
