Re: Icky - Progress
So looks like the keyboard fix pull-up has actually fixed the sound.
Also in doing the diagnostic cart the DMA Port Test comes back with:
Code: Select all
DMA Port Test
D0 DMA time-out
Fail at cycle:000001

Re: Icky - Progress
I think you need a special cable for DMA test...
Best thing is to put a blank floppy in the drive and try the floppy tests (it formats a floppy somewhere)

Well many of those tests require a test harness connected to the ports that route signals back.Icky wrote: 25 Sep 2018 22:59 Also in doing the diagnostic cart the DMA Port Test comes back with:

Yay!
Might be worth unsoldering the resistor pack next to the 1772 ( should be 10k).. And see if that helps.
Also swap the tos jumper as looks like your running 102 there..

:o Unbelievable. Hats off guys, you made it working in like what, two weeks? Amazing.Icky wrote: 26 Sep 2018 00:23DONE - And we have keyboard and mouse. Video shows changing to medium res but the floppy is not accessing the drive correctly
I guess the video also shows the screen flashing? Or is it just an artefact by recording?
