D'oh, I didn't even get out of Oxfordshire when I was in a low-speed collision with a Sunday driver. Nothing on the road but us two, we came to a roundabout nothing in sight and they decided to stop and I wasn't expecting it. My fault. I limped home.

Damage to my looks cosmetic but I dare not drive all the way not knowing if the bumper is going to come off (it's broken several clips) or if it rubs on the tyre etc

Oh no. At least nobody was hurt. It's why I don't like driving anywhere because to risky these days.

Years ago I ran into the back of a lexus at a big roundabout. Nothing around but us 2. He pulled into the roundabout, then sharply stopped. As I was accelerating, I couldn't stop in time and ran into the back of him :roll:

ARGH after all that testing and packing. 2 seconds of not concentrating.

Damn, that sucks, it really annoys me when people stop at roundabouts, and other junctions, when there is just no need. People just don't seem to be able to read the road. At least you're ok.
