Ok, so you were right, I should have been further ahead.
I changed the MFP with a new one, no difference.
Changed the BAD-DMA for an IMP one and then this happened.
The dma I used before came from my Mega, so I know it works, just doesn't like the STF then.

Nope, sorry won't move on mine.
Incidentally, it won't boot with the keyboard connected unless the earth on pin 8 is connected.

Congrats on getting the first stable desktop picture.
Am still travelling so will update later tonight.
I have a feeling we are going to tracking the peripherals next as my keyboard, mouse and floppy have not responded during any of tests

Hold down the Alt key and use the cursor keys. Alt-Insert is mouse button 1 and Alt-Clr/Home is button 2Forgottenmyname wrote: 25 Sep 2018 19:23 Sorry Pete, newbie on the ST here, what are the keyboard shortcuts?
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
