Probably discussed long ago.
What happened to the files required to produce the motherboard?
Know CLAB went out on a whim really.
And the injection molds requires to make cases? Was that all left behind in Taiwan?

would be cool to buy a new Falcon motherboard, all needed chipsets are available on the Ebay

Regarding molds and files required to produce the Falcon motherboard, it is puzzling that despite the passage of 30 years, they have still not been found...

@Rustynutt I thought all Falcons had the same crystal codec? I've worked on a lot of different Falcons, including Clab, and they have been the same as far as I remember.

edit: I did read once that Clab carefully 'selected' better performing crystal codecs than the usual. But I always just thought this was marketing drivel.

Oh wow, I've never seen a Falcon motherboard with a different audio codec chip like this before.

It turns out decoding the serial number, this unit according to the schematics is a "pilot production" unit, #23.
Have another built Oct of 92, it has the Crystal CODEC socketed. #100.

Must be older, a green wire is used for the CPU patch, mine is black! :lol:
