TI-99/4A for sale. Now SOLD

Morning All,

Now I’ve had the fun of fixing up my first ever TI-99 it’s time for it to make its way to its next new home.

I’ll post some photos shortly but here’s the description.

It’s in pretty reasonable condition for its age but needed some work to get it up and running. It’s has a new U610 rom as the other had failed, new 4116 ram chips due to 4 had failed and a new TMS9929ANL video chip as the original kept failing once it warmed up.

The motherboard is in reasonable condition with no corrosion but did have a few odd bits here and there where it had been assembled in the factory incorrectly. Believe it or not it had chip pins bent or not soldered but that’s all fixed now.

It does come with a PSU, advanced basic cartridge and the TV adaptor which works fine but I use it with a GBS8220 using the component video out.
